Silver Dollar City announced the purchase of 800 acres of land near Indian Ridge Resort, only miles from the theme park.
According to Public Relations Manager Lisa Rau, the portion of the land that included vacant townhomes is not part of the purchased land.
The land was used in the construction of the Indian Ridge resort, where building was paused years ago.
Silver Dollar City refused to comment any further on what might be developed on the land.
