Salem, MO man arrested after single-vehicle crash

A Salem, MO man was injured in a one-vehicle accident on Thursday.
Crash reports say a 2003 Pontiac Vibe driven by 64-year-old Ray Stanley of Salem, MO was traveling eastbound on Highway 32, three miles east of Licking, when the car traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Stanley had moderate injuries after the crash and was taken by ambulance to the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.

After treatment, Stanley was arrested for a felony Crawford County warrant for child cruelty.

He also faces charges for driving while intoxicated – aggravated offender, felony driving while revoked, no seat belt, and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway resulting in a crash.
He was taken to the Texas County Jail and was given no bond.
