21-year-old Salem, AR man killed in Wednesday crash

A 21-year-old was killed in an accident in Fulton County on Wednesday.
According to fatal crash summaries from the Arkansas State Police, a 2008 Dodge Ram Flatbed with a loaded trailer of logs, driven by 23-year-old Austin Freeman of Salem, AR was traveling eastbound on US Highway 62 when the vehicle lost control on a downhill grade, crossed the centerline, traveled off the side of the roadway, and struck a tree. 

A 21-year-old passenger, Edwin Borntreger of Salem, AR was killed in the crash. 

The driver, 23-year-old Austin Freeman, and two passengers, 56-year-old Scott Freeman, and 37-year-old Willard Yoder were all injured in the crash. 

They were taken to the Fulton County Hospital for treatment. 

According to the fatal crash summary, roads were icy, and sleet and freezing rain were falling at the time of the crash.
