Gov. Parson signs bill designating billions for fiscal year

On Thursday, Governor Mike Parson signed a bill into law that designates over 4 billion dollars worth of federal funding across the state for this fiscal year. 

Current state employees will see a five and a half percent increase to their current pay.

The law also allocates for public school funding, two hundred and nineteen million dollars will go towards school food services.

Additional funding will be sent to public schools, child care services, and Medicaid expansion in Missouri.
