Mindy’s Run is a fun run/walk held in memory of Mindy Lahey-Hughston to raise money for a local child in the community who is battling cancer. “I Hate Cancer” shirt sales and Warrior sign sales in honor or in memory of are sold to be displayed along the race route profits were all donated to the family. This years recipient is Carstyn Casey. Last year the fundraiser donated to Elle Mae Gregory.
Brenda Miller is the mother of Mindy Lahey Hughston and Madison Hughston is the daughter of the late Mindy Lahey-Hughston and Derek and Jordan Hughston. Mindy was a member of the varsity cross country and track team as well as Zizzer basketball. Wes and Alicia Gunter are directors of the Heart of the Ozarks Event.
