The Ozarks County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of three people after executing a search warrant in the Gainesville area.
According to a social media post from the Sheriff’s Office, the arrest involved the Multi-Jurisdiction Task Force, which is composed of Ozark County authorities, as well as the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and Ava Police Department.
The names have not been released due to pending formal charges.
In the social media post, the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office reminded patrons of the multi-county area that if “you play games, be ready to win prizes.”
The task force will not tolerate the sale of drugs in our areas.
They also stated to those selling illegal drugs and buying them, “we are watching, we know more than you think, and will be giving you a ride to a bunk behind bars if you continue.”
