Strong storms were reported across Missouri & Arkansas Sunday night

Strong storms moved across southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas Sunday night and there have been some reports of damage and power outages.  Several Tornado warnings were issued along with several thunderstorm warnings. In Randolph County, two chicken houses were reportedly destroyed along highway 231.  Sirens sounded in several area towns including, Pocahontas and Maynard. In Sharp County trees were reported down.  In Izard County trees are reported down. and there are unconfirmed reports of injuries.  Stone County Arkansas officials reported that barns, sheds, and trees were blown down.  NAEC reported last night that almost 1,000 customers in the Ash Flat and Evening Shade had lost power.  Entergy Arkansas reported almost 2,500 customers were without power including 700 in Izard County. In Lawrence County, a tornado reportedly touched down on highway 361. In Missouri, there have been reports of trees down and power outages in several areas. There are some reports of minor damage in Western Ozark County.
