The Missouri Highway Patrol is reporting that a teen has died and two others were injured in an accident on Highway 17 in Summersville. The Patrol says a 17-year-old Summersville boy was killed and 15-year-old boys from Eminence suffered serious injuries and a 16-year-old boy from Summersville suffered moderate injuries when the 17-year-old traveled off the road and overturned the truck he was driving. The driver and another boy were ejected from the truck. The 15-year-old was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield and the 16-year-old was taken to St Francis Mercy Hospital in Mountain View. The accident happened around 3 pm Saturday. No names are being released since they are all juveniles.
