
The house special committee on Government Oversight heard a bill modifying provisions to the distribution of abortion drugs on Wednesday. House bill 2810 is one of several controversial house and senate legislation dealing with abortion. The bill’s sponsor, Brian Seitz, said the bill would protect more than just the unborn.
In his opening statement, Sietz prefaced how the bill does not declare the manufacture of the medicines and instruments used in abortions to be illegal but rather to stop the unlawful usage of said paraphernalia.
