On Thursday evening, a crash involving a fire truck left a Plato, MO man with minor injuries.
According to crash reports, a 1991 Grumman Fire Truck, driven by 47-year-old Jeffrey Reed of Plato, traveled eastbound on Highway 32 – two miles east of Success, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a driveway, and returned to the road.
Reed had minor injuries after the crash and was taken by ambulance to Fort Leonard Wood Hospital for treatment.
We are unsure if the accident involves any area Fire Department employees.
