A Rogersville man was arrested on DWI charges after an accident in Wright County.
Crash reports say a 2004 Ford Mustang, driven by 22-year-old Zachary Pekarek of Rogersville, MO was traveling westbound on US 60, west of Highway 95, when the vehicle overcorrected to the right and started to slide sideways, traveled off the right side of the roadway, went airborne, impacted an embankment, and overturned.
Pekarek had moderate injuries after the crash and was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He is charged with driving while intoxicated and careless and imprudent driving resulting in an accident with injury.
