The house committee on elections and elected officials heard a bill for the first time on Wednesday that would change the ballot-counting process in any future elections. HB2633 would require all ballots to be counted by hand for the recording of the counting process. By the end of the hearing, Boggs was persuaded to not pursue this part of the bill after objections from representatives.
