
One person was injured in a Shannon County crash on Sunday.
Crash reports show a 2006 Ford Explorer driven by 68-year-old Norman Dolde of Mountain View, MO was traveling northbound on Highway OO, one mile east of Mountain View, when the vehicle stopped on the roadway to allow a deer to cross when a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria, driven by 60-year-old Stanley Murphy of Mountain Grove, MO struck two deer, skidded across the roadway, crossed the centerline, and struck the Ford Explorer head-on.
Murphy had serious injuries after the crash and was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
