The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has placed additional charges on a man in a sexual misconduct case involving a child.
According to a release from the Sheriff’s Office, since February of 2022, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has been conducting an investigation on 44 Ronnie Dollarhide of Ava, MO, regarding inappropriate conduct with children.
On Feb. 25, Dollarhide was initially charged with sexual misconduct involving a child under 15 years of age and was given no bond.
As Douglas County authorities continued to investigate, on March 17, another warrant was issued for Dollarhide for statutory rape or attempted statutory rape with a person less than 14 years of age, with a bond set at $50,000 cash only.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office states, “all suspects should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
