The Izard County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a woman on drug charges.

According to court documents filed on March 29, 25-year-old Audrey

Howard was stopped by the Arkansas State Police for a defective headlight.
After making contact with Howard, a Trooper introduced himself and advised the reason for the stop.

When the trooper requested Howard’s driver’s license and vehicle documents, she advised that she did not have her license with her and had recently purchased the vehicle.

As she looked for her vehicle documents, Howard began to act nervous.

During the interaction, the trooper observed a backpack on the passenger seat with 6-8 nitrous cartridges, or whip-its.

There was also a cartridge on the floorboard.

Howard was requested to exit the vehicle and denied permission to search.

She was noted to be wearing a fanny pack with a large amount of cash sticking out of it.

Once asked about the cartridges in the vehicle, she replied they were for making cupcakes but had a difficult time explaining how it worked.

The trooper then asked Howard to admit if there was anything in the vehicle, and she disclosed there was a small amount of methamphetamine.

Howard was then placed into handcuffs while the trooper searched.

The search revealed one whip-it canister, nineteen cartridges, a pouch containing one clear plastic bag with a white crystalline substance, a set of digital scales, a spoon, and a used smoking glass device.

She was transported to the Izard County Detention Center, where she was searched for additional paraphernalia.

When asked if she had anything additional, she replied no.
After the search, a small knife and sheath were found.

The knife’s handle had a removable cap and contained half a round white tablet, which was suspected to be oxycodone.

Howard is charged with felony possession with the purpose to deliver methamphetamine, felony furnishing, possessing, or using prohibited articles, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Her bond was set at $20,000.
