A woman was arrested on battery charges in Fulton County.

A probable cause affidavit filed on April 4, says on April 2, a deputy with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office received a phone call regarding a domestic disturbance that was occurring at a residence on Piney Ridge Road near Glencoe.

The deputy was advised that a suspect, later identified as 36-year-old Jennifer Eddy, had thrown a cell phone at her father.

When authorities arrived on the scene, they found an older man having a cut on both arms from being hit by the phone.

The male stated he did want to press charges and that there was a witness to the incident.

After retrieving statements, Eddy was located and was transported to jail.

At the jail, a drug test of Eddy revealed she had suspected methamphetamine and oxycodone in her system.

She is charged with felony domestic battery.

Her bond was set at $2,000.
