
The Houston, MO Police Department has arrested a sex offender that was residing near a High School.
According to a release from Houston PD, on Friday, April 8, an officer was informed of an individual that was a convicted sex offender that had multiple warrants for their arrest and was residing within 1000 feet of the Houston High School.
During the investigation, the suspect was identified as 42-year-old David Rodda, who was residing on West Cedar Street.
Rodda was taken to the Texas County Jail and was arrested for warrants out of both Missouri and Michigan.
Additional charges have been forwarded to the Texas County Prosecutor for failure to register as a sex offender and to be an offender residing within 1000 feet of a school.
The Houston Police Department states all parties are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
