
The Ozark County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman on multiple charges.
Arrest records show on April 8, an individual filed a report saying that Alyssa Collins of Gainesville, MO had pointed a gun at him while he was stopped at a stop sign.
In an attempt to locate Collins, authorities went to a residence on County Road 800.
As police were walking to the door, a vehicle driven by Collins pulled into the driveway.
She was asked to step out of the vehicle and was taken into custody without incident.
Collins was advised of her rights, and when asked to search the vehicle, she refused.
The vehicle was then towed to the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office, where the vehicle owner gave permission for the search.
A rifle with a scope mounted to it was located during the search, with one live round in the magazine and one live round in the chamber, readily capable of during.
The rifle matched the description given by the original reporting party.
During the booking process, two .22 caliber bullets were located in the hoodie pocket Collins was wearing.
Collins is charged with felony domestic assault, felony armed criminal action, and felony unlawful use of a weapon.
She is being held in the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office on no bond.
