
Strong storms move across Northern Arkansas on Friday evening.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued at 6:25 pm for Fulton and Baxter Counties, then at 6:50 pm a tornado warning was issued.
Large hail was reported in Viola, west of Salem, AR, and later ECNN received words of downed barns and trees.
The storm proceeded southwest through Salem, dropping severe hail, then near Cherokee Village and Hardy, weather spotters reported a large and dangerous tornado was on the ground.
The National Weather Service is reviewing the damage from the storms to determine a classification of the tornado.
