Sonny Smith received the Community Member of the Year award at the Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzlies Gala on April 8 at the West Plains Civic Center.
The award is presented to a community member who has shown an outstanding level of support for Grizzly Athletics by offering their time and effort to anything the program needs.
