A man was killed in an accident in Texas County on Wednesday evening.
Crash reports show a 1996 Kubota L2950DT driven by 67-year-old Johnny Berry of Roby, MO was traveling southbound on Hartzog Road, four miles west of Roby, when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway over a low water bridge, ejected the driver, and pinned him under the tire.
Berry was taken by ambulance to the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston for treatment, but was pronounced dead later Wednesday evening.
This is Troop G’s seventh fatality compared to ten this time last year.
