The Howell County Sheriff’s Office reports the recovery of stolen property.
According to a release from the Sheriff’s Office, on April 27, the department received a call of a stolen Hond Motorcycle from a residence off State Highway CC in Howell County.
The West Plains Police Department was further advised of the stolen motorcycle, and within a short time, they were able to locate it within city limits.
After locating the motorcycle, the Police Department reported they lost their visual of the motorcycle on County Road 8230.
After responding and canvassing the area, a deputy was able to locate the motorcycle at the intersection of County Roads 9230 and 8620.
It appeared the motorcycle had run out of fuel and was abandoned on the scene.
