A man was injured and faces charges from a Ripley County crash on Friday evening.
According to crash reports, a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by 33-year-old Jason Shrum, was traveling northbound on Route T – three miles south of US 160, when the vehicle went off the side of the roadway and struck a ditch.
Shrum had minor injuries after the crash and was taken by ambulance to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Shrum faces charges from the Highway Patrol for driving while intoxicated – first offense, no seatbelt, and failure to maintain the right half of the roadway.
