The West Plains School District allowed its first-grade students to create a time capsule that will be opened at a later date.
According to a release, on February 22, 2022, all West Plains First Graders, including those in the rural schools, were invited to add photos and information about themselves into a time capsule.
The capsule will be opened on March 3, 2033, during the first grader’s senior year.
Last week, the first grade Glenwood and West Plains Elementary students delivered the time capsule to the West Plains High School.
