
The Houston Police Department reports the arrest of a woman for firing a weapon at their former spouse.
An original social media post stated a large police presence was near the four hundred block of Fourth Street.

The same post said the public was not in danger, but a woman was taken into custody for discharging a weapon.
According to a release from the department, the Houston Police Department responded to the four hundred block of Fourth Street for a shots fired call.
The Texas County Sheriff’s Department also responded to assist and help secure the area.
During the course of the investigation, it was learned a male individual went to a residence to visit his son.
During that time is when the property owner and former spouse arrived, identified as 67-year-old Judith Kimrey.
Kimrey threatened the male brandishing a pistol.
As the male walked away, Kimrey discharged the firearm and nearly struck the male.
Kimrey was apprehended and transported to the Texas County Sheriff’s Office.
She was placed on a 24-hour hold and is pending the filing of formal charges.
