Melbourne, AR (May 13, 2022) – Ozarka College is excited to be offering a three-week Certified Nursing Assistant continuing education course. This course will take place on the Ash Flat campus June 6th – 23rd, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm each day with clinical location and hours TBA.
The cost for this course is $525 per student and will include the costs for course related materials, CPR certification, and TB skin test.
Requirements for this course include the following:
* Applicant MUST be 18 years of age, no high school diploma or GED required
* Applicant MUST have a government issued ID and social security number
* Applicant MUST satisfactorily complete the course during the scheduled time
* Applicant understands strict attendance is required to meet Arkansas Department of Health Office of Long Term Care guidelines
* Applicant MUST finish course with a minimum of 70% in course to pass
* Applicant will be required to wear scrubs and tennis shoes for the clinical portion of this course
* Applicant will be required to adhere to the course syllabus and policies of the clinical facility
* Applicants understand that completion of course does not guarantee state certification
* Applicant will be responsible for all state testing fees including knowledge and skills testing, currently $125, unless a sponsorship is provided and approved
