The Mammoth Spring Police Department and Fulton County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a woman on drug charges.

Court documents filed on Monday show that on May 13, Fulton County Narcotics Investigator Blair Ables received a call about a blue Jeep driving recklessly all over the road on Highway 63.

Police Chief Jamie Turnbough was advised of the vehicle description due to it traveling towards Mammoth Spring.

Chief Turnbough observed the vehicle coming into Mammoth Spring, and as the vehicle traveled by FNBC, it was half into the center turning lane.

Chief Turnbough then activated his emergency lights and made a traffic stop on the vehicle in the bank parking lot on Main Street.

He knew the driver to be 42-year-old Autumn Manes and knew she was on active supervision with a search waiver on file.

Chief Turnbough contacted Investigator Ables and advised he located the vehicle and had Manes stopped.

When the investigator arrived on the scene, Chief Turbough was searching the vehicle and had already found a bag containing a small amount of a pink powdery substance, believed to be Roxicodone.

Manes then stated during the stop that she had also previously used methamphetamine.

Investigator Ables then noticed a sock full of something under the driver’s side door.

Upon searching the sock, several small bags containing what was believed to be methamphetamine were found.

Further searching the sock, a total of six individually bagged bags of suspected methamphetamine were located.

Manes also made a spontaneous utterance it had fallen out of her shirt.

She was placed into custody and was taken to the Fulton County Detention Center.

At a later time, the white crystalline substances tested positive for methamphetamine.

Manes is charged with felony possession with a purpose to deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor driving while intoxicated – drugs, and misdemeanor refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Her bond was set at $30,000.
