Two juveniles injured in crash in Summersville

A crash in Texas County on Monday evening left two juveniles with injuries.

According to crash reports, a 2000 GMC Sierra, driven by a 17-year-old male juvenile of Eminence, MO was traveling westbound on Highway 17 in Summersville, when the vehicle failed to yield and pulled into the path of a 2002 Jeep Wrangler.

Two juveniles in the Wrangler were injured in the crash.
A 9-year-old male juvenile of Salem, MO had serious injuries, and a 10-year-old male juvenile of Salem, MO had minor injuries.

Both were taken by the Summersville Police Department to Mercy St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View for treatment.
