Following his last start, Kansas City’s Kris Bubic said that not only was his stuff the best it had been all season. On Monday night against the Angels, he was even better. Bubic hurled six innings of two-run ball as the Royals backed the lefty with three home runs to win the series opener, 6-2, Angel Stadium. Kansas City plays the Angels again tonight, Jonathan Heasley starts for the Royals.
