In a surprise move Duke’s Paulo Banchero was the first pick in the 2022 NBA Draft going to the Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City took Chet Holgrem from Gonzaga with the second pick, Auburn’s Jabari Smith who many thought would be the top pick, went third to Houston. Arkansas’ Jaylin Williams was selected 34th by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
