A woman from Myrtle was injured and a man was arrested after a tractor accident in Myrtle Sunday evening. The highway patrol reports that 34-year-old Mary-Lauren Niermann suffered moderate injuries when she fell off the fender and hit the asphalt. The Driver of the tractor, 48-year-old Jonathan Cagle was charged with felony DWI with physical injury, leaving the scene of an accident, no insurance, and driving while revoked. He was taken to the Thayer PD and placed on a 24-hour hold. Niermann was taken to Ozarks Healthcare. The accident happened on highway V in Myrtle.
A 17-year-old West Plains girl was injured in an accident Sunday afternoon south of Mountain View. The girl was hurt when she drove off the road and hit several trees. She was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries. The accident happened on Missouri 17 about 5 miles south of Mountain View.
A woman from Fox Arkansas suffered serious injuries in an accident in Howell County Sunday morning. The highway patrol says that 40-year-old Pamela Hicks suffered serious injuries when the pickup she was a passenger in hit an SUV that pulled into its path. The driver of the Pickup a 16-year-old juvenile was not injured while the driver of the SUV, 79-year-old Jessie Guffey suffered minor injuries. The accident happened at the intersection of Highway 142 and Highway E near Moody
Five people were injured including four young kids in a two-vehicle accident in Douglas County Saturday night. The Highway Patrol reports that the accident happened when a pickup driven by 31-year-old Elijah Nelson from Oldfield, crossed the centerline and hit a car driven by 32-year-old Matthew Haden of Ava. Nelson and a 7-year-old boy both suffered serious injuries a five-year-old suffered moderate injuries and a four-year-old and a one-year-old both suffered minor injuries. All four children were from Ava and were passengers in the car driven by Haden. All the injured were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway T about two miles west of Goodhope.
