The Thayer Mammoth Spring Rotary Club met Friday and had a couple of guest speakers. Anthony Priest from MSU-West Plains and a Musamh John from Pakistan. John was there to talk about the Nehemiah Trust Pakistan water hand pump project. The priest first talked about his trip to Pakistan.
John talked about what he is doing in America.
He explains what they do with this project.

Impure water causes 40 percent of the deaths in Pakistan and each year 53,000 Pakistani Children died of bacterial diarrhea from contaminated water. After the meeting, the Thayer mammoth Spring Rotary agreed to purchase one of the pumps.
