Former Mizzou Basketball player joins Tiger’s coaching staff

One of the most well-regarded Mizzou basketball players in the recent era, Tiger legend Phil Pressey is set to return to Columbia this upcoming season as a member of the Mizzou basketball staff. Pressey will serve as a graduate assistant on the Mizzou men’s basketball coaching staff.

Pressey was a 2013 AP Honorable Mention All-American his junior season after becoming the first Mizzou player to earn First Team All-SEC accolades. Pressey ranked 13th nationally and led the Southeastern Conference in assists per game (7.0) and was named to the John R. Wooden Award Midseason Top-25 list.

He finished his career as Missouri’s all-time leader in assists (580) and tied for the career leader in steals (196) with Anthony Peeler.
