A woman from Mansfield was injured in an accident in Douglas County Monday. 49-year-old Michelle Lane suffered moderate injuries when 46-year-old Edward Philpott drove off the road and struck a tree. Lane was a passenger in the vehicle. The accident happened on county road 201 about a mile and a half north of Ava.
