Authorities are now saying the fire that damaged 26 boats and a dock at Tracy Ferry Marina on Norfork Lake started when a boat motor exploded. The boat’s owner told authorities that he was working on the running lights and the motor was running when it exploded and caught fire. The owner said that his family called 911 and that two men attempted to put the fire out with fire extinguishers but were unsuccessful. One person suffered burns to the back and neck and was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center.
