On Thursday, Ozark County Sheriff, Cass Martin issued an “Emergency Order” to all employees of the Sheriff’s Office and shared the order with the citizens of Ozark County through Social media. He said this “Emergency Order” is being issued due to the current economic climate and the Sheriff’s office trying to work within the confines of the current budget. In the order, the sheriff says that they will not be seeking traffic violations and will only be answering calls for violent misdemeanor and felony crimes.
