A man from Henderson was injured in an accident south of Viola. 47-year-old Vince Smith was injured when he failed to negotiate a curve, drove off the road, and hit a concrete fence brace. The accident happened on highway 223. Smith was taken to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
