Two Ava residents were injured in an accident south of Houston Missouri, Saturday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports that 28-year-old Cheyenne Tweedy and a 1-year-old girl both suffered minor injuries when the vehicle they were passengers in slowed for a turning vehicle and was hit by a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old boy. Both Tweedy and the 1-year-old were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened on Highway 63 about a mile south of Houston.
