A woman from Doniphan was injured in an accident south of Poplar Bluff Friday night. The Highway Patrol reports that 43-year-old Brandy Nichols suffered moderate injuries when she drove off the road, struck an embankment, and overturned. Nichols was charged with DWI-drugs, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, no valid license, no seat belt, and no insurance. She was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
