A man from Pomona was injured in a motorcycle accident north of Moody Sunday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports that 57-year-old Stanley Collins suffered serious injuries when failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road, and overturned the motorcycle. Collins was flown to Cox Medical Center in Springfield. The accident happened on highway E, one mile north of Moody.
Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident in Wright County Sunday afternoon. The Highway Patrol reports that 46-year-old Bradley Odell of Mountain View suffered minor injuries and a 15-year-old boy from Mountain View suffered moderate injuries when Odell failed to negotiate a curve and overturned the motorcycle. The juvenile was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway 5, five miles north of Mansfield.
A woman from Summersville was injured in a one-vehicle accident south of Houston Sunday evening. 24-year-old Mackenzie Simpson was injured when she hydroplaned and traveled off the roadway and hit trees. Simpson was taken to Texas County Memorial Hosp[ital. the accident happened on Highway 17, south of Houston.
Two West Plains residents suffered minor injuries in an accident north of Pomona. 48 year Allison Skinner and 18-year-old Daniel Voyles were both injured when Voyles’ vehicle hit the rear of the vehicle that Skinner was driving. Beth Voyles and Skinner were taken to Ozarks Healthcare.
