Thunderstorms moved through southern Missouri and northern Arkansas last night, giving the area some much need rain put also causing several power outages. Howell Oregon Electric Coop reported at one point last night that there were 527 members without power in the areas of Mountain View, Birch Tree, West Plains, Couch, Alton, and Vanzant. No structural damage has been reported yet because of the storms. There were several reports of trees and tree limbs down.
