University of Missouri pitcher Spencer Miles was selected in round four of the 2022 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft by the San Francisco Giants.
Miles was the 136th overall pick and the first Tiger off the board in the 2022 draft. The selection of the junior and Columbia native marks the 27th consecutive season a Mizzou player has been drafted.
Miles joins a long history of Tiger pitchers in the draft, marking the 26th-straight year with a Mizzou arm going in the draft.
