Salem High School had two teams named Academic State Champions by the Arkansas Activities Association. The Lady greyhounds Golf Team and the Lady Greyhounds Softball team. Mountain Home also had two teams named Academic State Champions the Boys Tennis Team and the Girls Volleyball team are both Academic State Champions. AAA recognizes teams each year who have achieved academically, based on their cumulative grade point average.
