There is currently a widespread power outage in the City of West Plains right now. It resulted from a downed power line at the transfer station. West Plains Fire Department is currently fighting a grass and brush fire caused by the downed line. Electric crews will restore power when the fire is under control. The City of West Plains is aware of the situation.
