An Ava man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident Sunday night southeast of Ava. 58-year-old Jeffery Reeves was injured when he lost control of the motorcycle and overturned it. He was flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened just before 8 last night on County Road 305, five miles southeast of Ava.
A West Plains woman was injured in an accident north of Dora Saturday night. The MSHP reports that 43-year-old Amber January suffered moderate injuries when she lost control of the truck she was driving, drove off the road, and overturned the truck. She was flown to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway AA, eight miles north of Dora.
A pedestrian was hit at the scene of a two-vehicle accident in Lawrence County last night. According to reports, the two-vehicle accident happened on Highway 63 just south of Highway 91 just before 9 last night. The pedestrian at the accident has hit by a vehicle and was flown from the scene to a Memphis hospital for medical treatment. The identities or extent of injuries have not been released. The accident is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
A Glencoe Arkansas couple was injured in an accident south of Ash Flat according to police reports, a vehicle driven by 17-year-old Scott Terry of Ash Flat hit the rear of a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Ray Mann of Glencoe. Mann and his wife, 49-year-old Emily Mann were both taken to White River Medical Center in Batesville. Terry was not injured. The accident happened on Highway 167 south of Ash Flat. Terry was cited for careless and reckless driving.
