A man from Horseshoe Bend was killed and three people were injured in an accident Thursday morning in Jackson County. The ASP reports that 72-year-old Barry Bowman was killed and 45-year-old Mark Davis of Mammoth Spring, 23-year-old Luis Altamirano Lucas from Frankston Texas, and 72-year-old John Bowman from Jonesboro were all injured when Barry Bowman failed to yield and pulled into the path of the vehicle that Lucas was driving. The injured were taken to Unity Health in Newport. The accident happened around 9 Thursday morning on Highway 367/14 in Newport.
