A man from Cherokee Village was killed in an accident on Highway 289 south of U.S. 62 in Fulton County. The ASP reports that 34-year-old Joey Gaskins was killed when he ran off the roadway and hit a rock embankment. The accident happened just before midnight on Wednesday.
