A man from Flippin was arrested in Ash Flat after he was allegedly found passed out in a vehicle at a gas station. 55-year-old Russell Cox was found slumped over the steering wheel with the door open and one foot outside the car. An officer was called to the scene and was able to wake Cox but noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view. A search of the vehicle found a glass smoking device, a set of digital scales, and several bags of meth weighing 4.2 ounces and more. Cox was arrested and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, heroin, or cocaine with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an enhancement penalty for being in proximity to certain facilities.
