Thayer City Council met Tuesday at City Hall

The Thayer City Council met last night at City Hall for their regular monthly meeting. The Council took care of regular monthly business first and set a date for a public hearing regarding the tax hearing. The hearing will be on Thursday, August 25th at 6:30 p.m.  The Council then heard an update on Economic Development from Bob Eckman. He talked about MODOT road work

He also updated the Council on the incubator.

He also talked about other projects in town including the car wash, the splash pad, and vacant business buildings.

The City Council also discussed the ordinance on Holidays, they review a bid for monthly inspections of all lift stations and approved it. The Council approved the Capitol expense loan from MPUA.

The city council also discussed the pavilion at Sherwood Park and discussed the doors at the Street Department and agreed to repair them at a cost of $4,091. The Council also approved TRI testing.

The Thayer City council meets the second Tuesday of each month at City Hall.
