A man from Thayer suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle accident Wednesday evening on Highway 142 west of Thayer. The Highway Patrol reports that 54-year-old Dennis Hutcherson was injured when he lost control of the motorcycle, skidded down the roadway, and overturned. Hutcherson was taken to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened three miles west of Thayer on Highway 142, last night around 7:15.
